We left our London hotel room which is the smallest that either of us have ever been in to take the Eurostar to Brussels through the Channel Tunnel. We passed through France to get there stopping at Lille.
Our Hotel was a short walk from the train station and thankfully the room was ready when we arrived and even more thankfully the room is a decent size.
We would spend the rest of the day touring Brussels seeing the 2 main attractions the Manneken Pis (which was not that impressive) and the Grand-Place which was very impressive. Of course we had to try some Belgian Beer and Paula tried a Belgian Waffle.
We plan to head to Bruges tomorrow. It has a lot of historical significance for Canadians.
