Had a bit of time before the train so took a quick jaunt to Wenceslas Square to check out the monument. Anytime we hear The Good King Wenceslas song at Christmastime it will have a different meaning for us now.
We had the classic European train adventure today at the Prague Main Station. Our train was an hour late leaving but the platform was not announced until the very last moment which caused a last minute dash for a lot of people. There were jams on the platform when people were trying to board and a bodycheck and an elbow may or may not have been thrown by the 2 Canadians trying to get through.
We managed to get to our seats just in time before the train departed. The 4 hour journey from there into Vienna was smooth and we got to see the Danube for the first time. We were too tired to do anything in Vienna tonight however will be doing some hardcore exploring tomorrow.
