Spent the morning on the Sound of Music tour. Something that Paula has been wanting to do for a very long time. She found the tour to be the most amazing experience of the trip so far, so many areas where the movie was filmed in Salzburg in 1964
The absolute highlight for Paula was the church where the wedding was filmed at the Catholic Church in Mondsee. We learned that one of the reasons the church was chosen was to accommodate the long train of the wedding dress worn by Julie Andrews in the movie!
Our tour guide Nadia was very knowledgeable and answered all of the questions Paula had (as she was the only one asking and answering the questions)
Tomorrow we embark on a tour of the Berchtesgaden and the Eagle's Nest before taking a afternoon train to Munchen (Munich) where we will stay for 3 days post Oktoberfest.
