Bit of a heavy day as we headed to The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial site which is just outside of Munich.
The bus for the final leg of the journey was extremely busy which surprised us since it is a Friday.
We were fearing the worst since we have seen some awful tourist behaviour over here however 99.9% were very respectful.
The actual prison complex was huge yet it only made up a small part of the Dachau facility as the rest was used for the SS troops.
The Crematorium was the most poignant part of the visit and really brought home the gravity of it all.
The memorial was very well done however one needs more than a day to go through all of the disseminated information to do it justice.
Travel day tomorrow as we are going to Lucerne Switzerland. Which will take us close to 7 hours from door to door.
